Hello
I’m Raven
In a world where moments pass in the blink of an eye, I love being the reminder to cherish the present and treasure the memories that shape all of our lives .
My passion for photography began long before I purchased my first camera. I've always been captivated by the storytelling that a simple photo can convey. How it can capture emotions, preserve moments, and narrate stories without a single word.
I pride myself on creating not just images but experiences that will last for years to come. I aim to make each session unique to the individual and as fun and stress free as possible. For me, photography isn't just a profession; it's a true PASSION—a way to bring people together and remind them of the joy, love and laughter that makes us all human.
MY STORY
I wasn’t always a photographer, but I always knew I wanted to connect with people creatively.
I always new there had to be more. As a child, I'd lose myself in daydreams and a want to escape the mundane. I knew I was not like the others. My mind would stray towards things more exciting and adventurous.
After graduating high school, I worked various jobs that did nothing to “spark the flame”. I have always been the crafty type. From handmaking cards to painting and pottery. I found that those things only temporarily scratched the itch.
One day I was asked to take professional photos with a friend. The thought of that was daunting. Much like others, I did not like the end result. My insecurities would not allow me to enjoy a single photo taken. None the less, I agreed. Much to my surprise, not only did I love the photos, I found out they were not even edited yet. I started to cry and say to my photographer, “oh my gosh, I am pretty!”
It was then that I realized that my artistic abilities could also be used for good. That I could help woman and men alike; find their self esteem and empower them to love themselves again.
I then found an incredible community of photographers. This community was helpful, happy and wanted to see others succeed. I wondered what made them so happy. I quickly realized that it was because they made a living doing something they love. We have all heard the saying, “Do something you love and you will never work a day in your life.” Now I truly know what that means.
